Food and Drink at Grey Eagle Resort

The complex runs five food and beverage spots, ranging from a full sit-down restaurant to a bar at the centre of the gaming floor. Blaze Bar & Grill currently operates from alternate locations due to ongoing renovations (service through different counters).

Bars

Both bars sit on the casino floor:

  • Stage Bar: non-smoking, located on the casino floor. Grab & Go sandwiches, salads, and snacks available throughout the day. Blaze menu accessible until 17:00, then a separate late-night menu takes over.
  • Eagle Bar: positioned at the centre of the gaming floor, serves cocktails and a full range of non-alcoholic mocktails.

Restaurants

Grey Eagle restaurant options:

  • Little Chief Restaurant: the flagship dining room, built around Indigenous-inspired dishes using seasonal ingredients. On concert nights, reservations require a direct call to +1 403-719-8777 or an email. The online system does not cover those dates.
  • Buffet Restaurant: nightly themed programming that rotates through prime rib nights, pan-Asian menus, and rotating specials. Open to guests 18 and older only.
  • Blaze Bar & Grill: full à la carte menu, currently running through Stage Bar from 10:30 to 17:00 and through the Buffet Restaurant from 17:00 to 01:00 while construction continues.

Each venue serves a distinct purpose, so the choice depends on timing and what kind of meal you're after.

Getting In and Where to Leave Your Car

Grey Eagle Casino parking is complimentary for hotel guests and general visitors alike. The main lot handles standard day-to-day volume. For high-attendance events, two overflow areas open up.

Standard Visits

For regular casino or dining visits, the main secured lot is free and monitored around the clock. It sits close to the main entrance and handles day-to-day volume without issues. No ticket, no validation, no time limit applies for standard guests.

Event Nights

On performance days, two additional parking lots are set up on the complex grounds, with staff on duty to regulate vehicle traffic depending on which entrance you use:

  • North overflow lot: accessed from the northern approach, located above the hotel
  • South overflow lot: accessed from the southern entry point

For sold-out concerts, arrive 30 to 45 minutes ahead of doors.

A Note From Experience

Book a west-facing room if you're staying the night before or after a show. The Tsuut'ina land opens up on that side, and the hour before sunset is worth having a window for. After the concert, head straight to Little Chief. It stays open late and the crowd thins out faster there than at the bars.
